TL; DR
- We found another piece of evidence pointing to the date of the Google Pixel pre-orders.
- It could be October 19, 2021.
- It’s unclear if Google will hold the event that day, but it is likely.
However, it didn’t tell us one thing when we would actually be able to buy one. However, we’ve seen some evidence that suggests you can place a pre-order for the Google Pixel 6 on October 19, 2021. Today we have another piece of evidence (via Droid life), which is slowly making us confident that this could be the date.
As a reminder, we first heard the date of October 19th FrontPageTech. Then we saw that this date was confirmed by an official Google Instagram post. Today we found a Facebook ad shared on Reddit that also suggests an October 19th date for a Google Pixel 6 pre-order.
The Facebook ad is asking users to register their interest to learn more about the phone, but they must do so before – you guessed it – October 19th. Of course, this could just be a massive coincidence, but all of these rumors are starting to pile up nicely for that too.
Speaking of rumors, we’re reasonably sure we’ve just seen the Pixel 6 series go through the FCC. In general, it means that the phones are about a month or less away from launch. And hey look at the calendar …
