Next to CES 2025, Samsung has announced its first OLED monitor that is clearly not targeted on PC gamers. The smart monitor is an OLED in the M90sf – the first for these devices – bringing love from the Odyssey Gaming Line to the mainstream demographic. This is a great thing for those who are expecting to engage in HDR material in terms of making and consuming it.
This makes sense, because the smart monitor M9 is designed to become an entertainment hub. Like the previous model, such as smart monitor M80B, M9 does not need to be connected to a PC to run the material on it – such as a little television on your desk is correct. It has Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Game Hub, and much more every streaming app you want – as well as with a remote for convenient control.
We do not yet have a complete imagination paper, but we know that smart monitor M9 has 4K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. This is a collision with the 60Hz model that we have seen so far, and allows the monitor to double as a proper gaming monitor when you need it. Although we will not know if it is one of the best monitors you bought, one thing is sure: it is really to do all this.
According to a picture provided by Samsung, the smart monitor is also a new form of M9, as it sports round corners and thin side bezels. Thanks to the fact that it is an OLED monitor, the screen frame is now just 9.9 mm thick, or 0.35 inches. It is a hair thick compared to an iPhone 16 for reference.
Smart Monitor M9 also includes some new on-device AI features, including AI that optimize the quality of the picture based on the type of material and analyzes the input signal to determine the input signal to see the input signal according to the Samsung's press release. Samsung has not announced the pricing or availability details for the new smart monitor M9, but it is worth noting that it will probably come over the previous model. Samsung has a full line of smart monitors, from 27 inch 1080p model to 32-inch 4K options (and even one 43 inch model), Although OLED M9 definitely holds itself in position on top of the stack.
