The Samsung foldable smartphone is carrying the technology to the next level. A tipster has revealed that the company may soon develop a double-folding smartphone, which means that it bends in two directions and appears.
According to leakage LatsgodigalThe phone will have two hinges to support its three display parts. This suggests that one part of the phone may be bend forward, and to make the other backwards, to make a Z-shaped. Run-up by 2021 Society for information demonstration program (SID), Samsung unveiled this double foldable concept, called “S-foldable”. The display screen was 7.2-inch, the same length of the screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
There is also a documentation for some technology about Samsung's famous pen. In July 2021, Samsung Electronics filed a patent with this double foldable and its pen with a world intellectual property office. Now, documentation of 66 pages expanding this patent has been unveiled.
Documentation has shown that when the device is folded, it resembles the size of a regular phone, leaving too much thicker. In the unfolded positions, the right-south display will create a front display, and there will be an attached slot to adjust the S pen behind this display. The S pen will be magnetically placed in place, ensuring that it is in the correct position when charging.
Samsung has also got a patent Slideable smartphone, Although we know less about that device. It is also not currently clear that dual-folding technology can be used in the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4, which will be likely to land by August 2022. While it can already increase the price of expensive foldables such as Z fold 3, it can be one-one-one-one kind of premium flagship product.
