In 2022 it is easy to find the best gaming mouse that has been done – especially if you are looking beyond the razor and lodge options that are constantly at the top of the chart. However, ROCCAT has skated to distribute one of the most bright new mice of this year, Burst Pro Air,
The new Roccat Burst Pro Air can be cheated due to the weight of 81 grams, but the internal makes it for it. The burst pro air has 2.4GHz or Bluetooth, 100-hour battery life, a water- and dust resistant shell, optical switch, a viosable phantom flex cable, and 19,000 via heat-tried PTFE legs, DPI of wireless connectivity, wireless connectivity. For $ 100, it is a lot of mouse.
Design and comfort
When I received the Roccat Burst Pro Air, the first thing that was standing for me was its semetronal design, which brightens bright on the black or white version. Pro Air has a “bionic shell” that separates RGB by tightly sealing the mouse to keep water and dust out. Being RGB on a mouse covers it during use, but it is not necessary that it is not so here.
The mouse has four RGB zones, under a top shell, one on each left and right button, and the end in the middle, which brightens the scroll wheel. I hold my mouse with a palm grip, and the RGB lights under the button were still able to shine from under my fingers. This is very clear, especially compared to some mice that hide their attractive lights under your palm, such as alienware tri-mode wireless gaming mouse.
RGB shines from under my fingers on the left and right mouse button.
The semetrous designs continue under the mouse, allowing RGB to shine from almost all angles. You will find two switches under the mouse: a one that allows you to togue between wired, Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless (assuming that you are using USB-A dongle). However, should you decide to use standard Bluetooth, or include Phantom Flex cable, the dongle can be stored under the mouse, a feature that I like to see.
When I opted to use a 2.4GHz mode, the Phantom Flex Cable is the best USB-C cable without a doubt that I have ever received with any peripheral. The Phantom Flex cable is lodged with a fancy paracard of the restriction, which has enough weight and flexibility to prevent the mouse from snagging on your desk, which becomes very heavy.
ROCCAT, like some other companies, could slap some standard PTFE legs that would have worked, but it did not happen. Instead, the Roccat consisted of heat-walked PTFE legs that feel broken. I did a glide test on my NownKeys Desk Matte to see how the bust pro with hyperglide skates would bust pro air against wireless, and the results were practically the same. So, the burst pro air skates are good for going out excluding the box, which says a lot about the skates at the bottom because it is not the lightest at 81 grams.
There are normal front and back buttons on the left side of the mouse, however, these are larger than normal. To be honest, I did not realize how big the side buttons on this mouse were when I looked deeply in its design.
Sensor and switch
If we are talking about the internal, then there is a lot for the Rokot burst pro air, then let's start.
Bursts are switches inside pro air TTC opticalOr as Roccat tells them, “Titan switch.” TTC is a very popular switch manufacturer for mechanical keyboard, and I did not even know that the company has made switches for mice. The process in which the Titan switch operates is like any other optical switch: a beam of light is introduced from one side of the switch to another when active, resulting in an almost immediate reaction time.
Now, I have always found an optical switch to be a placebo in both mice and keyboards. Many people think otherwise, though.
According to ROCCAT, the Titan optical switch was designed to prevent double-click and up to 100 million click. While I have not clicked this mouse 100 million times (I don't think I will ever be in my lifetime), TTC is an excellent switch company – so I will take the word Roccat for it.
The switch impressed me, but did not censor.
While the switches are optical, they still have some tact, and quick response time makes this mouse even more desirable. The scroll wheel feels like any other pointed wheel and acts, but it is slightly loud than other mice I have recently tried.
The switch impressed me, but did not censor. Burst Pro Air ROCCAT uses an owl-eye sensor, with a maximum DPI 19,000 and 1,000 Hz voting rates.
During the previous year, for example, large peripheral companies such as Razor have released mice with extremely high polling rates. This razor is evident in the wiper 8KHz, with a polling rate of 8,000 Hz and the maximum DPI 20,000. Did it bother me? No, however, the technique of owl-eye is a bit dated, especially for this price point.
While the sensor of the burst pro air decreases in some areas, it works with Nvidia reflex, a feature that reduces the system delay from each mouse such as click in GPU-intensive games like FortniteHowever, you can only use reflex if your monitor features a G-pin, and it is a bit unfortunate.
Battery life on the burst pro air was really impressive, especially when you are in the RGB of this mouse. According to ROCCAT, the battery life lasts for 100 hours whether you decide to use standard Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless dongle. For example, the Phantom Flex cable was not quite good, just charging 10 minutes is all that takes you five more hours of the gameplay.
Gaming performance
A friend of mine sent me a screen capture of playing original ApocalypseBut with ray tracing, and because Quake RTX Was very fun, it was also to happen. Apocalypse There was a solid option when it came to test this mouse because there is no auto-AM, it is a very fast book, and I did not play it in more than a decade.
However, the burst pro air easily glued, which allowed me to easily snap for the target. since Apocalypse Such is a quick game, I needed the DPI to lower a smij, and the burst pro air was originally adjusted.
Overall, the Roccat burst pro air is relatively simple – it does not have too much or too low buttons. If I had chosen any specific game, this mouse would have fit, it would have happened OverwatchDue to bright colors and volume of buttons. It is nightpicking, but it would be good to see a free-spin feature on the scroll wheel, which is appearing on more mice. Since I recommended this mouse for a game, I would not recommend it like this Dota 2Since the Berrst Pro Air lacks the macro button.
Take ours
For $ 100, RocCAT falls behind its competition in areas such as Pro Air Max DPI, weight and voting rates. Nevertheless, I like this mouse very much. Semitrancaluint shell beautifully spreads RGB, the switches are made by a reputed company, and the Phantom Flex is a cable top-tier.
Are there any options?
For $ 100, there are too many options, especially if you are looking for better performance. Razor wiper 8KHz Ultralite Retail and maximum DPI for just $ 60 is 20,000 and 8,000 Hz polling rates. If you want to live with Roccat for $ 90, then there is Con XPWhich has the same Titan switch, phantom flex cable, heat-painted PTFE leg and a scroll wheel that facilitates left and right side side.
How long will it last?
Roccat Burs Pro Air comes between two years of warranty and TTC switch, Phantom Flex Cable, and water- and dust resistant shells, I am confident that this mouse will operate for years.
Should you buy it?
Yes, without any doubt. Roccat burst pro air bus looks like -and for $ 100, you cannot be wrong. I was not troubled by its slow polling rate and heavy construction, but the mouse enthusiasts are very special, especially when it comes to the sensor.
