NASA has returned with its regular updates what to see in that huge open window above our head in the coming weeks.

One of the highlights for April is the presence of four familiar planets, which exits in a row and is easily viewable with naked eyes.

The spectacle begins to take shape with the presence of Venus, Mars and Saturn in the south -east before sunrise in the early part of this month.

Jupiter enters the scene from the middle of the month, which increases the hour before morning to make a quarter of planets. In the end of April, Jupiter will grow slightly more in the sky shortly before the sunrise, making it easier to spot the bright planet.

In its latest update, NASA has also focused on the Big Dipper (also known as Ursa Major or Plow), a pattern of bright stars in the northern sky.

Space agency Tells The little-known fact is that one of its stars is “actually two. Or, in fact, six.”

It states: “What looks at first glance like a single bright star here, Midway with Dipper's handle, a double star on closure inspection: Misar and Alcor.”

NASA challenges you to “see if you can see them as two stars with your own eyes.” Then, through a pair of binoculars, colleagues in the same scene to see them easily as different stars. As you gaze at them, keep in mind that these two star systems are around a light year, and about 85 light-year away from our own solar system.

NASA then proceeds to explain that although Mizar and Alcor appear as a close pair of two stars, are actually six. “Alcor is a binary pair of stars, while Mizar is actually four stars-two pairs of binergies. So in April, the unusual 'double' stars in the Big Dipper find Misar and Alcor, where first appears as a star, in fact, a six-star system.”
