Initially it can be quite difficult to understand why Little Casio GA-B22100 is such a great watch. After all, it is cheap, it is not a science-fi-effects limited version, and towards technology, it is not widely specified as a fitness-oriented G-shock, give an Apple Watch alone.
Nevertheless it is one of my favorite G-shock watches of recent times, and a great purchase. here's why.
Why is it popular?
The original G -Shock GA -2100 (focus on the lack of B in its name) came out in 2019 and was a quick hit. The $ 99 price point was correct, analog/digital look is pure G-shock, and it was available in various colors, so it appealed to many people who buy G-shock watches as fashion accessories. Despite these two important upgrades, the GA-B2100 has changed a bit and compared to the simple GA-2100. It is still the thinnest g-shock around 11 mm, so it is incredibly wearing, weight is minimal at 52 grams, and there are many color options. The price has been affected by adding new technology, but not much, because the GA-B2100 starts at $ 150 (129 British pounds), and for this, it is a complete theft.
Bluetooth connection
Although some casio g-shock watches today include more fitness tracking characteristics, such as GBD-200, GA-B2100 is a simple case. Bluetooth connection sinks on your phone to set local time, and in the app you can accommodate features like alarm, timer and world time. It is easy, faster and more natural to learn the process of doing so on the watch using the app.
Casio has recently released a new app called Cassio Watches, which replaces its old G-shock connected app, and I first took the opportunity to try it while using GA-B2100. The app looks, clean and easy to read with black text on a white screen, and I like that you can choose your exact clock to show your exact clock in the app instead of a low personal general option in the old app.
Choose a feature like setting the world time and a map shows with it for some additional visual interest, while other features are all simply kept out and are very early to use. It is certainly more feature-focused than the app faster, less attractive and older connected apps.
However, the main home page is a collection of advertisements for G-shock and a repetition of its Instagram feed, which is no purpose. When I open the app, I highlight my watch collection. He said, Bluetooth connections with the app have worked without a problem because try first, and it takes a long-repres of the mode button after adding the clock again after disconnecting automatically.
