As you read these words, I will be on my way for the Mobile World Congress 2025 trade show for Barcelona, Spain, and this will be the first time since 2019. This would be a different show experience for me, in many ways, and as I had prepared for the journey, I thought of my last journey, and how I think will not come close to this year, which will come close to a particularly one declaration.
Is MWC about the phone too?

The cameras were always talking on all these phones, especially on further thinking equipment like Huawei P10, but it was never focused on the phone and did not emerge completely as a major sales point at that time. Today the technique for cameras on top modern phones like Galaxy S25 Ultra was very different. If we had seen a 200MP camera on a phone in MWC 2015, it would have taken the world from the storm. Today, this is a line in a review. However, when I went to MWC for the last time, a phone performed my best to talk to everyone, and it was A camera phone first and foremost.
A crazy camera replaced it
In 2019, Nokia came back with a headlineer phone made by HMD Global, which recently gained the right to produce the phone with the Nokia name. This MWC went with the intention of creating a big splash at 2019, both new people and long -term Nokia 9 Purevyu with an exciting camera phone to attract Nokia fans.

The camera app was very slow, some images were not taken minutes or captured at all, and it was impossible to try to do anything in the editor because the phone would freeze. The inconvenience of the phone was not a good form for HMD Global, who was trying to conquer the hearts of Nokia fans at the time. Unfortunately the Nokia 9 PureVy was a brave, exciting experiment that did not meet his promise. Where is the Nokia 10 Pureview?
Nokia 9 PureView was not a good camera phone or a good smartphone. However it was a matter of MWC 2019, and I remember the discussion and enthusiasm around it. As I explained, rarely smartphones have a really big impact on MWC these days, and the niche camera phones are also more than rareness. What about MWC 2025? It looks good, because Xiaomi – Current Savior of Current Camera Phone, in my opinion – Xiaomi 15 is bringing Ultra to Barcelona. This Nokia 9 is unlikely to be bizarre as a purview, but it is fine. What it needs to do is luxurious Xiaomi 14 or better of 14 Ultra, and it would be good on its way to having a camera phone to defeat this year. I am excited for this, but I am hoping to secretly create an unexpected appearance for a Nokia 10 Pureview, complete with a dozen flush-mounted cameras, crazy features and a processor that can actually handle all this.
