The Vivo V5 is the latest model which was the upgraded version of the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3 Max. The V3 and V3 Max offered some good features which are liked by lots of people some of its useful features are its faster performance and long lasting battery life, but the missing thing with this device was its cameras, and its clumsy User Interface UI and its high pricing. In this new model, they had upgraded it so let’s see if they have improved them or not by our Vivo V5 Review.

Vivo V5 Review:

Here in this Vivo V5 Review, let’s start the things with the vivo look and its design and later on we will walk into the key specifications and the plus and minus of this New Vivo V5.

Vivo V5 Design:

The Vivo V5 model was nothing but a remix of all the modern phones presently available in the market. This Vivo is having similarity with the OnePlus 3 or an Oppo Model from the front end of the phone, and it was having the influence of the iPhone 6 from the back of the phone. If you observe the both phones by their backend, you can clearly see the difference yourself. Although it’s a remix of traditional models it gave some attractive look to the model. so it from the design, you can give some good grades to the Vivo V5.

Vivo V5 Build Quality:

The Vivo V5 Build quality was good, and it came with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection which protects the display, and it has the faux metal chassis blending perfectly. Apart from its design, the lovelier thing is its slim and very light it just weights at 154grams and also it has the preferred real metal.

The Vivo V5 has the 5.5 inch IPS display which is bright, and it has the good color saturation as well. It almost looks like an AMOLED panel. The Resolution is the Only HD, but it doesn’t affect the performance of the phone too much. This Device comes with the backlit capacitive navigation buttons, and also with a fingerprint sensor which can easily be integrated into the home button. The fingerprint sensor is working fine, and you don’t have any problem with sensors.

The Vivo V5 has a user-friendly design and it also has the slim profile with the decent grip to hold on. The headphone socket, micro USB port, and the speaker grille will at the bottom of the phone. The back of the phone has the matter finish, and it will have a look of iPhone 6, and it can manage the fingerprints and smudges during the review period.

It has the dual sim tray on the left side, and it can accommodate the microSD card which is extendable up to 128GB. Along with these, you get a headset and sim ejector tool and also a 10w charger.

Vivo V5 Specifications:

The Vivo V5 comes with an Octa-Core Media Tek MT6750 SoC processor this was the same processor which was used by the Oppo F1s. Along with that, it is having 4 GB of RAM and 32GB of Storage. Its performance is fast, and it got the An Tutu score of 40,916, and the GFXbench returned 21fps in the graphics test.

The Vivo V5 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n which is similar to the new Panasonic Eluga Prime. It is having 4.0 Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS and the FM radio. This version of Vivo v5 is Marshmallow, and vivo v5 function is similar to the large customization companies. It has the software which looks and works just like they did on the previous v-series phone.

The IOS inspired layout can be the quite confusing task for the first time users of the vivo. The apps screen and toggle switches have been moved to the carousel. You can access them by swiping upwards from the bottom. The short cut of vivo v5 is the short press on the left capacitive buttons brings up a home screen where you can customize your look including the widgets and transition animations as well.

The other best features of the Vivo V5 are already there in its earlier version that is in Vivo V3. You can find the gestures and be glancing notification from the lock screen of the mobile as well, and also you can split the screen view and whey you get an incoming message on the video player then you split your screen.

Vivo is also having the one-handed gestures feature for the lock screen PIN keypad. You can even shrink the screen down to make everything visible. The other hand mode is for the touch pal keyboard, and it doesn’t seem to work that efficiently.

Let’s wrap it up seeing its key specifications in Vivo V5 Review:

Key Specifications and Features:

I have mentioned detailed specifications in above task. Here I want to say the key specification in an easy way, along with its pros and cons of the device.

Features:

  • Display: 5.50inch
  • Resolution: 720*1280 pixels
  • Processor: 1.5GHz octa-core
  • Storage: 32 GB
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Rear Camera (Back Camera): 13-Megapixel
  • Front Camera: 20 – Megapixel
  • OS: Android 6.0.1
  • Battery: 3000mAh.

Vivo V5 Final Verdict:

The Vivo V5 look is perfect with some popular phones remix and also it is a step up from its previous version. But it fails to deliver the best against the present competition. The features of this phone are exceptional. It has some unique features in that its 20-megapixel front camera seems impressive than its competition.

But it isn’t that great it is just having some little difference between its competitions. The high megapixel counts feel unnecessary because of its defects. Unless you plan on printing A4 Size posters of your selfies, this isn’t great.

This model has few redeeming qualities you should get through is its display and the excellent battery life. When compared to the other smartphones. But coming to the price it didn’t suit the features its price is somewhat high. You can get some better pieces with the 17,900.

You could opt for the Oppo F1s because it offers the same features. It also has the better-built camera set. Sometimes you can even think about the Gionee S6s which is also a good alternative.

If you are looking for performance with less amount of cash. Then, the new Upgraded Oppo F1s will have a better chance to beat this mobile because of its 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. You can find only Rs 1000 difference between these two models and if you can strive to get it then you must wait for a month or so.

Pros of the Vivo V5:

  • Good Display
  • Excellent Battery Life
  • Fast Performance
  • Front Camera decent
  • Very Slim and light
  • Proper Design

Cons of the Vivo V5:

  • Its Plastic Body
  • Confound rear camera.
  • Hybrid SIM Slot
  • Custom OS feels messy.

This is all about the Vivo V5 Review.  If you want to test the phone, you can easily do it. It is always best to buy this device if you want selfies and other activities. I hope you all have a bright idea about this and if you have any comments do let us know.
