Valorant To Introduce New ‘Deathmatch’ Mode On August 5
Valiant players desperately await Act II, which will introduce a lot of new content to the game. Act 2 will launch an all-new Battle Pass while adding the twelfth Agent, Killjoy.
However, recently it emerged that Act 2 will also introduce the Deathmatch Free-For-All (FFA) mode on August 5th. The FFA Deathmatch mode will launch in beta, and the developers will only keep the new game mode if it appeals to players for the long term.
In the upcoming Deathmatch mode, ten players will land on a Valorant map to test their skills. It is rumored that all players will be playing solo as there will be no teams in the new Valor mode. The first player to get 30 eliminations, or the most wins in six minutes, will be the winner.
Deathmatch mode free for all Valorant
Here are some more details about the Free-for-All Deathmatch mode:
Loads: A player will respawn with heavy armor each time. In addition, they get infinite credits to purchase the weapon of their choice and trade it in at any time during the match. Unfortunately, players cannot purchase abilities in Deathmatch, so the new game mode is all about gunplay.
Reappear: There will be endless and quick respawns in the FFA Deathmatch with a three second respawn timer. Players will have an 8 second window where they will not receive any damage. However, this will go away if the player decides to move or shoot.
Other than that, Valorant promises that spawn points will “not have enemies in or near line of sight.” In addition, to maintain fair gameplay, the Spawn Points will be back to the wall.
Health Packs: Interestingly, when players die in the FFA Deathmatch, they drop a health pack that expires after 10 seconds. Acquiring the health pack will restore health to 100/50 health points (HP).
To abandon: Unlike other Valorant game mods, players do not get EXP for playing Deathmatch. They can quit the game at any time by selecting the Quit Game option from the menu.
UAV: To avoid camping and keep gameplay fast, the drone will reveal the location of all players every five seconds.
Kill the banners: The killing ceremonies in FFA Deathmatch (Double, Triple,…) will be “limited in time instead of life”. This further means that players will have a short window to get another kill and continue their streak after each kill.
So these are all the rules for the Free-to-Play Deathmatch mode in Valorant. The game mode will launch a day after ACT II goes live, which will launch today. Besides, it will be the best Valorant mode to improve flanks and objectives.
