Lenovo has announced an impressive update for Thinkpad X1 Extreme, which is now in its fifth generation. The two major features are in addition to the 165Hz refresh rate screen and RTX 3080 ti graphics.
In the current generation, Thinkpad X1 Extreme Maximum RTX 3070 and 60Hz.
In addition, the new Thinkpad X1 Extreme Jean 5 features Intel's 12th-Jea Core I9 VPro H-Series processor, up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, and up to 8TB SSD. The previous model tops only 2TB of storage.
Everything else about X1 Extreme is also this year. It is still a 16-inch powerhouse laptop for material construction, which is to compete with laptops such as Dell XPS 15, MacBook Pro 16-inch, MSI manufacturer Z16, and many others.

You have an option for 3840 x 2400 or 2560 x 1600 display. Lenovo did not specify whether the 165Hz refresh rate would be available on both display configurations. Both performance options are 16:10 aspect ratio and also comes with 1080p webcams.
The laptop is still 0.78 inches thick and weighs 4.14 pounds. The lid still uses a woven carbon fiber top, with the traditional thinkpad keyboard and touchpad inside.
Lenovo also announced an update of the ThinkPad T-series. These commercial laptops now come with 16:10 aspect ratio display, 1080p webcam and the latest 12th-ji Intel processor. They also offer options for Ryzen Pro 6000 processors.
Finally, Lenovo updated its midrange business laptop, Thinkbook 14S Yoga General 2 and Thinkbook 13S General 4I with the latest 12th-Je-Je Intel processor.
Thinkpad X1 Extreme Jean is available in 5 June 2022, starting from $ 2,049. Thinkpad T-series begins at $ 1,299, some models are available in early May 2022. Both Thinkbook 14S Yoga General 2 and Thinkbook 13S General 4 starts at $ 849 and are available in April 2022.
