By doing new full trailer from The BoysReleased by Amazon on August 4th, we see the Boys Vigilante group, led by Karl Urban, who is fighting the superheroes called The Seven, who are abusing their powers. The trailer shows more about The Seven’s secret agenda of building an army of superheroes who will bid.

The new trailer shows that season 2 will be bloodier, more creepy, and more interesting considering that The Seven uses political propaganda techniques about terrorists to get everyone to support their violent behavior.

In another teaser trailer posted on July 8th by Amazon, we see The Boys – hiding from The Seven – seeing a television news report in a dark living room that says their leader Billy Butcher and all of their gang of the police are searched for various crimes.

We also see The Seven, led by The Homelander (Antony Starr), who says the world still needs superheroes. The Boys fighting the Seven trailer features numerous recordings, including punches, explosions, bloody deaths, and the superheroes who demonstrate their impressive powers. And yes, the new trailer has many moments when Karl Urban is snarky.

Amazon has one former teaser for The Boys Season 2 This introduces a new superhero named Stormfront, played by Aya Cash (you’re the worst) and joining the team.

Amazon posted (and then pulled) a teaser trailer for the second season on December 5, 2019. The footage showed a slow motion shot of Homelander (Antony Starr) pouring a bloody substance over his face.

There is also a brief glimpse of Terror the Dog, a character from the comic series The Boys on which the show is based.

The Boys Story (Season One Summary)

In season 1, the seven cause a young man named Hughie (Jack Quaid) to take revenge if they accidentally kill his girlfriend. Hughie joins anti-Cape vigilante The Boys.

The team consists of charismatic leader Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) as well as breast milk (Laz Alonso), woman (Karen Fukuhara) and Frenchie (Tomer Capon).

But there is controversy within the seven when newcomer Annie January / Starlight (Erin Moriarty) joins. It struggles with everything from the dangers of fame to Dealing with a # MeToo nightmare. Through their eyes we see everything that is wrong with the seven.

At the end of season one, The Seven’s lineup will change forever. Aquaman-like superhero The Deep (Chace Crawford) is pushed out of the limelight after sexually assaulting his superhero Starlight in an incident that ended in a # MeToo scandal.

Superhero A-Train (Jessie Usher) is a drug addict who uses a superhero level steroid to run faster, with fatal results.

The handler of the seven, Madelyn Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue), is murdered by superhero The Homelander (Antony Starr) during a shocking revelation that she kept secret from him (he secretly produced a superbaby). The twist is that the mother is Billy Butcher’s wife, whom he thought was dead.

The Boys Story (Season 2)

In season 2, all of these action points need to be addressed and a new handler and maybe a few superheroes involved.

If The Homelander gets out of hand, it may be up to superheroes Starlight and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) to make The Seven real superheroes who are actually more about protecting humanity than their own superhero image.

The new actors include the timeless actors Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit. Visnjic plays Alistair Adana, the charismatic leader of a mysterious church. Doumit will play Victoria Neuman, a young prodigy congresswoman. Aya Cash plays a super-powerful neo-Nazi named Stormfront.

“I think Stormfront is like a nuclear bomb that explodes in the seven,” Cash told Entertainment Weekly in March. “She’s here to try to get Vought back to the original idea behind superhero creation, and she can be a feminist.”
