Herd-2

If we try to hold on breakfastHaving lunch and dinner on the healthy side, having nutritious yet fun snacks on hand to serve throughout the day is key. These mini-indulgences are especially useful when trying to follow a strict low-carb diet such as: Keto, Paleo or atkins.

With so many popular low-carb diets competing for your dollars, grocery brands have worked hard to deliver these fun low-carb treats with fewer carbs than the classic bag of potato chips, cookies, or crackers. With so many new keto snacks – some great and others decided not – and with more beating shelves every week, we’ve tried some of these new low carbohydrate snacks. Sometimes you need a delicious break from the typical keto snacks such as macadamia nuts, avocado and hard-boiled or devilish eggs.

Here are our favorite keto snacks that can help you stick to a low-carb keto diet.

herd

We wrote about these full-bodied strips of fried chicken skin quality earlier, and that’s because they’re damn tasty. Like a pork rind, but better. Be warned, this isn’t a low-calorie snack, but if you’re trying to cut carbs and maintain overall flavor, keto-friendly flock is one of the best keto snacks. Available online in Original, Salt & Vinegar and BBQ. An 8-pack costs $ 24 on the Flock website.

Duke

Chowhound editor-in-chief Joey Skladany swears by these delicious little sausages from Duke’s to get a bold explosion of protein when necessary. A perfect pre-workout snack option for a keto lifestyle, available in Original, Hatch Green Chili, Andouille or Hot & Spicy. Amazon sells the mini sausage meat sticks for $ 9.50 per bag.

target

Sweetened with stevia, these peach rings are a perfect glycemic cinema candy that will replace your sour patch watermelons or gummy bears and still satisfy your sweet tooth. This sweet keto snack contains only five net grams per serving and no corn syrup. Grab a 1.8-ounce pouch for less than $ 5.

High key

Cookies are one of the harder low-carb snacks. Part of me would like to say that if you want a cookie, you just have a cookie. But if it’s really a keto diet version you’re craving, my vote goes to HighKey’s keto chocolate chip cookie. I would compare this delicious keto snack to famous butter-flavored Amos chocolate chip cookies, but not quite as crispy. But with just a gram of net carbohydrates, they still taste better than Ahoy chips. A pack of three bags costs $ 14 at Amazon.

Quevos

Quevos are light as a feather and low-carbohydrate chips made from avocado oil and protein. They only contain three net carbohydrates per 1-ounce sachet. Sour cream and onion is the best taste we’ve tried from this keto snack, but the airy bites are also available in simple, salt and pepper, BBQ, Cheddar, and Quevos rancheros. A five-bag variety pack at Amazon costs $ 15.

Magic spoon

This keto-friendly low-carb muesli takes us back to the cartoon-filled Sunday mornings of yesteryear, with fun flavors like fruity (think Froot Loops), cocoa, blueberry, and frosted. With 12 grams of protein and just 3 grams of net carbohydrates per serving, Magic Spoon makes for a simple breakfast or an innocent sweet keto snack in the late evening. Get a four-flavor variety pack for $ 39.

Moon cheese

I have often wondered what it would be like to bite directly into a block of Parmesan cheese. It probably wouldn’t work as well as I hope, but the next best thing might be these keto-friendly Moon Cheese Bites. The garlic-parmesan taste is outstanding in my opinion and with just two net carbohydrates per bag they are a snack idea that will definitely not ruin your keto mentor or diet. Three bags cost $ 15 at Amazon.

Bai

Is a drink a snack? We may never find out, but Bai’s range of low-calorie, low-carb, fruity drinks has grown from year to year. There are a few flavors, sweetened with Bai’s inexpensive blend of stevia and erythritol, that I’ve learned to love – but the teas and especially the new ones (ish) Narino peach tea is at the top of my list. Perfect for the thirsty “morning after” or when I just can’t drink another can of Selters. Get 12 bottles for $ 24 from Amazon.
