Save 33% on a gaming fantasy with this 43-inch curved monitor
Ultra-wide curved monitors are still rare enough to turn your head. In the truest sense of the word, because at 40 inches or more you have to turn your head to absorb everything. However, ultrawide displays are increasingly popular alternatives to standard monitors and side-by-side dual monitors. The Lenovo Legion Y44w-10 is a real beast at 43.4 inches, and now you can get thatat Microsoft.
The Legion is 33% cheaper than the regular price of $ 1,199. This is a significant saving, even compared to Amazon..
So much is true: 43 inches is a lot of screen space. It is almost the size of a pair of 24-inch monitors arranged side by side and filled with 3,840 x 1,200 pixels. Of course it is also curved with a rating of 1800R – which means that the curve is a segment of a circle with a radius of 1800mm. This is a relatively aggressive curve, especially when compared to other Ultrawide monitors with a gentler 3000R curvature. The monitor has a number of connectors – two USB-C connectors, an HDMI connector and a DisplayPort connector.
Behind the scenes, the monitor consists of two VA panels, suggesting that it should have approximately the same color gamut and brightness as a typical IPS panel, but with a slightly better contrast ratio. With a refresh rate of 144 Hz, this monitor offers AMD FreeSync 2 support for tear-free gaming.
I couldn’t find many reviews of this monitor online. So if you have experience with it, I would love to hear your thoughts. In the meantime, this deal should be in effect by the end of September or while supplies last.
