- Thanks to serial leaker Evan Blass, we have a first look at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
- As expected, the two phones combine design aspects of the Galaxy S21 series.
- The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is pictured with an S Pen that appears to confirm the pen’s support.
Samsung pretty much owns the foldable market right now. Therefore, there is great anticipation for the upcoming foldable devices, which should include sequels to the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip series.
Thanks now to Evan Blass, we apparently have press renders for the two phones. The renderings show a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and a Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the brand names at the top of the picture. This leaves little doubt as to what Samsung intends to call the phones.

Interestingly, one of the images shows an S Pen with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This strongly suggests what we’ve long suspected: that Samsung intends to use the Galaxy Z Fold series as a replacement for the stalled Galaxy Note Let series act.
Check out the renders below.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3
As you can see, both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 don’t deviate too much from last year’s designs. However, the camera modules stand out quite strongly from this year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 series. This is a welcome change as it results in a much more cushioned camera bump, especially when compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Unfortunately, the renders don’t give us a clue of specs for either phone. For both, however, we can expect the usual 2021 upgrades that should include a Snapdragon 888 processor for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and possibly the Galaxy Z Flip 3 as well.
It is not yet known when Samsung will launch these phones. However, since these renderings are leaking, it can’t be far now.
