- Samsung SmartTag Plus is available immediately in the US.
- This comes after the smart tracker was announced back in January.
- It packs UWB smarts and can be pre-ordered for $ 40.
The Galaxy SmartTag Plus is now available for pre-order in the US following its launch at the Samsung Unpacked event in January.
Like its standard SmartTag sibling, the Galaxy SmartTag Plus also connects to Samsung’s SmartThings Find so you can find your lost belongings more easily. While only Bluetooth Smarts are used to track objects in the Standard Edition, the SmartTag Plus also uses UWB. This gives Galaxy S21 series users the benefit of tracking closer to the object. You can even use AR tracking to find your data or use the SmartTag Plus as a smart home remote control.
While the standard SmartTag has been available for some time, the SmartTag Plus can now be pre-ordered for $ 39.99 from B&H Photo. According to the listing (h / t DroidLife) the device will be delivered on April 12th and is available in black.
