Realme’s fast charge tech only needs 5 minutes to reach 50%

Realme has so far teased the upcoming arrival of its fastest smartphone battery charging technology. It is called 150W UltraDart Charge, and it will provide 50% battery charge in only five minutes. To ensure that the technology is safe, Realme has also announced its Ultradart Charging Architecture (UDCA), which is designed to balance speed and battery longevity with security and heat management.

A one called UltraDart Charge GT Neo 3 will be launched on an-un-oriented phone, but Realme has not given a release window for the device and seeing that Realum GT Neo came together in September 2, 2021, it could not happen soon. It is good to see Realme that the ultradert charge will come on a mid-range phone, rather than a more expensive flagship, although although first.

Giving 50% charge in five minutes will have a stress of the phone, especially for a long period, and this is where the UDCA comes. Under this, Realme states that it will use lithium batteries that will be available 80% capacity even after more than 1,000 full charge cycles. This will also ensure that the temperature does not exceed 43 degrees centigrade, so remains useable and comfortable to keep the phone.

Realme did not say how long it would take to charge the battery completely. Currently, Realme's 65W superdart charge system recharges a 4,500mAh battery from flat in about 35 minutes. Just because 50% charge comes in five minutes, it does not mean that 100% will come in 10 minutes, because the more the cell is complete, it is slow.

Realme can make a big thing about about 150W UltraDart charge in the Mobile World Congress, but is not the first to announce such fast charging. Qualcomm's 100W Quick Charge charges 50% in 5 minutes and it is part of Xiaomi's 120W hypercarcated fast-charging system, which can fully charge a phone in 15 minutes. You can already experience it for yourself, as it is a feature on many phones including Xiaomi 11T Pro. The company has also demonstrated the 200W hypercharge system that promises to fully charge the battery in eight minutes.

Superfast charging also runs in the family. Realme is part of the BBK Electronics Empire with Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo. Oppo has already talked about its 125W flash charge technology, which will provide 41% charge in five minutes, and OnePlus is also rumored to start a uniform powerful charging technology soon.
