OnePlus 8T Leak Shows It With A Flat Display And 65W Fast Charging
According to internal diagrams, the OnePlus 8T leaks show the phone with an edge-to-edge flat screen. It will sport a punch-hole selfie camera in the upper left corner. The back of the smartphone will house a four-camera setup. Surprisingly, the camera bump is similar to what we’ve seen on Samsung flagships this year.
OnePlus 8T specifications
Starting with the display, the renderings show a 6.55-inch Full HD + resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. After the eye-catching 90Hz of the OnePlus8, this would be a nice addition to the OnePlus 8T.
The punch-hole selfie camera is expected to be a 32MP unit. A curved back panel on the back of the device will house the rectangular camera setup in the upper left corner. Leaks suggest a 48 MP main unit, 16 MP ultra-wide macro, 5 MP macro, and 2 MP portrait / depth sensors.
When it comes to performance, which OnePlus phones are popular for, there are some interesting improvements. Leaks say the OnePlus 8T will come with a Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants.
A previous leak from OnePlus 8T had pointed to a Snapdragon 865+ SoC, which is sharper and more suited to a OnePlus ‘T’ line smartphone. The phone will house a rumored 4,500mAh battery with 65-watt Warp-Charge. This is an upgrade from the current 30 watt Warp-Charge. It will likely run OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Renderings show the phone volume rockers on the left, the power button, and the alert slider on the right side. There is a noise canceling microphone on the top of the phone. The bottom will have the SIM tray, USB Type-C port, and speaker grille.
