How do the Nanoleaf Lines hold up after six months?

I first reviewed the Nanoleph lines in October 2021 – about six months ago. From that time, I have used them almost every day. The lines have become a part of my house decoration; They automatically turn on at sunset and close each night at midnight. I rarely change the pattern or think of their appearance.

Lines bus Are – And it is exactly how to have a smart device. If I want to think about it on a regular basis, it stops offering the same level facility.

So how do they catch, and are they still worth it after six months?

Smooth performance with minimum glitter

In the use of six months, I had only two problems with lines, and both were a random power outage fault. When electricity went out (thanks, Georgia storm), the lines were unheard of my smart home system. I had to go to the Alexa app and re -appoint them to the scaffolding, a process that took all 15 seconds to do.

In addition, there are no error or problems of any kind. The lights have not dim or not gone out, and it is with six hours or everyday use.

In my original review, I referred to concerns over two years limited warranty and the flamboyant spirit of light -bars. This anxiety is almost a non -non -gourd, because once installed, there is rarely a reason for touching bars.

In comparison, I have many smart devices that only disappear from the system or lose connections with Wi-Fi between other annoyance. The fact that the lines continue to function defectively, there is a major victory.

Some new changes

Most of the characteristics around Nanoleph lines are the same. The app looks about the same, and if there are more patterns, I do not know about them – already there were many people to start the track.

The biggest change comes in the form of new hardware. Nanoleaf recently released the skin of lines-snap-on cover that change the colors of the system. These skins are perfect fit at the top of light bars, although you will need to remove the existing hexagonal cover for connectors and snap the new in place. The skins for a pack of nine are $ 20, which will cover a standard nanoleph lines kit.

The skins are currently available in pink and black, but more colors should soon be on the way. Nanolef plans to release Flex connectors in the future that lets you dive your design around the corners or on the roof.

The skins are great, but the flax connector will open options for designs in a vast way. Once they release and drive the wall on the roof and on the roof for effect, I can configure the layout again.

Another change to note is that Nanolef lines now serve as a thread border router. This means that any other thread-capable devices you have are also connected to lines; They serve as a relay point to strengthen the overall integrity of your network.

Are Nanolef lines still worth it after this time?

Definitely. As I said earlier, these are not lights for utility. You can technically read by them, but it will not be the best experience. Nanolef lines are a great decoration piece and thus should be thought of.

If you are looking for a snicy, unique ways to decorate your bedroom, office, or game room, the Nanolef lines give you flexibility to choose your design and color palette.

They are expensive. At $ 200 for a starter kit with nine light bars, you are watching more than just $ 22 per light. He said, it is one of the more affordable options for decorative lighting, and it certainly keeps for continuous use.
