So let’s see this one be the phone first-time buyers must consider.

Design

Micromax has tried its level best in bringing this premium looking phone at this price. On rear matter curves gently attached to the 8.5mm thick phone, making the phone hold comfortably. Moreover, Canvas Spark weighs only 134gm that is the overall weight of the phone. A gold trim runs around its edges, is plastic made with a metallic coating for adding sheen look. You might have seen same in Micromax Canvas Gold A300. Micromax Canvas Spark is much slimmer and lighter than other similar smartphones available in the market today.

Display

A smooth canvas is the ultimate word when we look it at its display. There is a 4.7 inch screen from front and center. On it you can find, front camera, earpiece and ambient light sensor. The screen size is enough for reading and to view videos clearly. Text will appear crisp and easily readable with a nice view from all angles. Brightness is not that much for compensating with nature, reflection on the screen, which can be the problem you notices going out. Micromax has included capacitive buttons with touch sensitive for easy navigation that you can see below the screen. But those keys for navigation are not integrated with the on-screen interface; they are just touch-sensitive ones. They have got a thin lining around without backlit; it is not clear properly.

The power and volume buttons are on its right edge. Speaker holes you can find on the rear part bottom. The camera module is on rear slightly out of the main body that can get scratched or wobble by placing on a flat surface. Micromax thick metallic logo is slightly down on the camera. When the rear cover is removed, slots for the SIM card and a micro SD card can be seen, no battery. Micromax Canvas Spark
