Lenovo unveiled several new chrombooks as part of the Mobile World Congress event. The devices include Ideapad Flex 5i and 3i and Ideapad Duet 3.
Ideapad 5i and 3i have 14-inch and 15-inch displays respectively. They are both an FHD IPS panel with 400-NIT peak shine. Both these Chromebook are 2 -in -1 convertibles. In addition and the quality of the screen, however, two devices are actually quite different.
Ideapad 5I has more premium of both, but both devices are at high end in terms of screen quality on Chromebooks, which are low resolution and often TN panels. 5i can run an Intel Pentium 8505, an Intel Core i3-1215U, or an Intel Core i5-1235U.
5I can also be equipped with 4GB/8GB LPDDR4X memory and 256/512GB SSD, and includes two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, a microSD slot and a Kensington Nano Security Slot.
Ideapad 3i is particularly less powerful and is clearly aimed at students or young users. It will run an Intel Celeron N4500 or Pentium N6000 with 4/8GB LPDDR4X memory. 3i EMMC is limited to storage, and you can get up to 128GB from 32GB in all ways. It has only one USB-C port and a USB-A port, but switchs the Kensington slot to the HDMI port.
