Microsoft's pre -promised sign language support Forza horizon 5 A huge step for access to sports is going to come ahead. The Xbox giants participated with the Forza Developer Playground Games and the Hearing Community's deaf and hard to make video subtitles for the players.
Free update comes on 1 March and includes American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) support for over 300 in-game cinematics. While the accessibility options and resources have become more common in AAA sports in recent years, sign language support is still very rare.

The company worked with the deaf and worked hard for the entire hearing community, to hire advisors to run action through a company run by deaf people to ensure that sign language translations are accurate. The playground game then needed to test the features and ensure that there were no bugs and this material was accessible and approved by the community.
Talk to IgnAccessibility Consultant and Teacher Cameron Akeet, who is difficult to hear, said they did not think of their suggestions to add ASL and BSL to the playground that they would get traction at any time. “We should be able to reach the same story to the tracers and story components,” Akit told Microsoft. “Otherwise, we are only getting half the picture and not fully experienced.”
This is not the first time an Xbox title has received additional accessibility features, but this is a big step in the right direction. Sign language support in sports is unusual, but the playground additions for forza paint a hopes for the future. “It is like a new area because if a company like a playground can do this, then why can't other big studios go to the same length?” AKITT told Microsoft.
Free update launched yesterday. Players can activate the feature in the accessibility settings of the game.
