There are only a few budget cases here; most of my choices for the best iPhone 11 cases tend to be a little more expensive than the typical generic case you find on Amazon for $ 20 or less. I have also included a number of translucent cases because since the iPhone 11 is available in a variety of colors that people may want to show off.

I will update this best overview with new choices as they continue to arrive.

If you’re looking for the best clear iPhone 11 cases for your new smartphone, you can’t go wrong with the Speck Stay Clear case, which resists fading (yes, cheap transparent cases can turn yellow). It has a durable polycarbonate outer shell, offers 13 foot drop protection and includes Microban antimicrobial protection. The case also allows easy wireless charging. The transparent wireless charging case is available in versions for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The company’s Defender superprotective case is available for all new iPhone 11 models, but most people want something thinner. The Symmetry series is slim with beveled edges, making it a good blend of elegance and protection. A raised bumper helps act as a screen protector. Several color options are available, including Symmetry Clear as well as the Symmetry Plus Pop case, which incorporates a PopSockets PopGrip. Prices range from $ 50 to $ 60 (AU $ 59, £ 29) and are expected to decrease over time.

Zagg recently bought the best British locker manufacturer Gear4 and is looking to develop its brand in the United States. In terms of style and protection, the Gear4 cases are there with Otterbox and Speck, all lined with the company’s D3O shock-absorbing material and with beveled edges to protect your phone. My favorites include the translucent Picadilly cases (also available for Samsung Galaxy) and Crystal Palace, as well as the Battersea. Their price ranges from $ 35 to the more expensive iPhone case options around $ 50.

If you are looking for an inexpensive transparent case for your new iPhone 11, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid is a good value at around $ 11 – $ 15, depending on the version of iPhone 11 you have. No drop index is listed for the case, but it looks like the Spigen shells offer reasonable protection (if you want even stronger protection, consider paying $ 35 more for the case). Spigen Tough Armor case), and it should appeal to people who want a case that is neither too thin nor too thick (the transparent Speck case is a little thicker and seems more protective). Unlike the Tough Armor, many of these cheaper clear cases tend to turn yellow over time (and become less translucent), but they are cheap enough that you probably won’t be afraid to replace them if this happens. product.

Spid’s Presidio Pro is available in a variety of colors and has a soft-touch finish that is equipped with Microban antimicrobial technology. It has been tested against drops up to 13 feet (about 4 meters) and is one of the best versatile cases for the iPhone 11. The case is very protective, with an outer polycarbonate shell, but it doesn’t is not too bulky. Its slim design facilitates wireless charging.

Mous makes several cases that have eye-catching designs, including finished models in leather and wood. They are all lined with the company’s AiroShock material which, according to the company, provides excellent protection in a slim design. They seem durable and all include a lifetime warranty.

I liked the Contour speckled leather case (photo above, left), but the Mous’ Limitless 3.0 line – the bamboo case on the right – is compatible with the company’s Limitless 3.0 accessories, which include a wallet that adheres magnetically to the back of the case and a few supports, one of which is an air support for your car.

It should also be noted that these Soft cases are the only ones I have seen that have a SIM card storage inside the case for international travelers used to exchanging SIM cards.

Cases start at $ 45.

Lifeproof, which now belongs to Otterbox, is no longer intended to manufacture waterproof cases (there is only one waterproof case: the Fre). But it still makes very nice cases to protect your iPhone, including the Next and the Slam, as well as the new Flip Series, which adds a sliding wallet element that turns into a kickstand. Personally, I prefer Slam. It costs $ 46 and is available in a variety of colors and designs. Pair it with its Rewind wall charger for quick charging.

Moshi has always made attractive iPhone cases, and its Overture (folio), iGlaze, Vitros and Altra cases (lanyard included) are available for the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. The Overture is actually a two in one case which is an excellent screen protector. You put your iPhone in a thin case that then sticks magnetically to the cover, which has slots for storing credit cards and money. You can buy one in the price range of $ 25 to $ 50.

Truth be told, I was not a fan of the previous Pelican cases, which were very protective but just a little too bulky (and ugly). But his latest bundle includes two that I like: the Traveler (photo, left) and Rogue (right), which has a pattern of soft rubber bubbles. The “clear” version of the Rogue glows in the dark.

The Spid Presidio Grip series comes on the iPhone 11. It is one of the most popular and still one of the best phone cases, although the ribs on the case can wear out over time. Available in several color options for $ 40.

Casetify cases are known for their eye-catching designs (which are glued to the back of a transparent case). These are relatively thin and stylish cases that offer decent protection and are available in a variety of design patterns, with some appeal to teenagers.

IFace cases are extremely popular in Japan but are not so well known in the United States. With their oversized rounded edges and many fun colors, they certainly stand out from the crowd and are quite protective. The first class (shown above in red and green) is available in a variety of colors and costs $ 25.

One of the new models – the Reflection ($ 30) – has a transparent back in tempered glass. It is available with several different trim color options.

On Amazon, iFace cases are currently reduced by 10% with a clickable coupon.

Skech’s new Vortex enclosure has a soft-touch finish and a built-in fold-down metal ring kickstand, and it adheres to the included magnetic vent mount. It’s available in multiple color options (blue and black in the photo) for all iPhone 11 models. It’s a bit pricey at $ 50, but it has some nifty extras (like a built-in ring holder and responsive buttons) and a nice design with 10 foot drop protection. You can still charge your phone on a wireless charger with the case.

I also like the clear case of Skech, the Echo Air, which costs less ($ 30).

Nomad manufactures a range of pretty leather cases, including leather wallet cases which come in brown or black. Personally, I like its new sturdy case, which is made of water-resistant leather. It is designed for fall protection from 6 feet (2 meters). The leather case costs around $ 50, while the folio version, which has a flap that covers the screen, costs $ 70.

Adidas branded cases are available in a variety of flavors that offer eye-catching designs that match some of the company’s iconic sneakers. They are all quite thin and offer decent but not excellent protection. Prices range from $ 12 to $ 50, depending on the style.

BodyGuardz was initially known for its screen protectors, but in recent years it has released some interesting iPhone cases. Personally, I like the Momentum $ 45 (photo on the left), which has a padded textured back, and the Accent wallet $ 60 (photo on the right), a leather case that has a slot on the back to store a few cards credit. These two cases include a strap that you can choose to attach or not to the case.

The translucent Ace Pro (middle photo) is the company’s most affordable package. It costs $ 35.

Case-Mate makes a variety of colored cases, some of which have sparkling snow glitter effects (my favorite is the new Waterfall Confetti case shown at right). Despite their fun and eye-catching design, they are also well constructed and will protect your device. Prices range from $ 30 to $ 40.

Silk brings its range of simple and affordable wallet covers and cases to the iPhone 11 under the new brand Smartish. The Smartish Walletslayer is one of the best iPhone 11 cases for those on a budget. He sells for $ 15 and holds three credit cards and cash.

Razer, which manufactures laptops and gaming accessories (among other products), brings its range of “gaming” cases to the iPhone 11, and they are pretty cool. The housings have something called thermaphene-based heat dissipation that “redirects trapped heat through a thermally conductive lining adjacent to the ventilated ventilation channels to significantly improve cooling compared to traditional housings”. It’s a bit of a gadget, but it seems to help a bit when you play intensive graphics games for long periods of time. Cases start at around $ 20 and are available in Pro and Slim versions. I preferred the more protective Pro, which is currently on sale for $ 20.

Defense series cases from X-Doria are available in a wide variety of styles and cost a little less than competing premium cases from Gear4, Speck and Otterbox. Personally, I like the Defense Clear series (illustrated, second on the right), which fits well with the standard iPhone 11. It costs $ 25 and is available with a black or white trim.

I have always been a fan of Tech21 Evo Check cases ($ 40) for previous iPhones and they are available for the new iPhone 11 in a few different translucent color options (these are the pink and smoked black cases in the photo below -above) . Tech21 also offers slightly thinner but more colorful Studio Series cases, which cost $ 10 less.

Sarah Tew / CNET

The Tech21 Evo wallet is a well-designed folio case that includes a screen protector cover with a magnetic lock and a slot inside to store a few credit cards and some cash. It also turns into a stand for watching videos and is tested against falls from 12 feet (3.6 meters), so it’s quite difficult. It’s 49 $ on Amazon, although it is currently only available for the 11 Pro.

Sarah Tew / CNET

Like Lifeproof, Catalyst has made a name for itself with waterproof cases, but it is now focusing on the sale of its impact protection case, which is tested against falls at 9.9 feet and has a transparent back and a slim design.

Sarah Tew / CNET

One of the most popular hard cases was Griffin’s Survivor series. It has been refined over the years but remains a fairly resistant protector and is available in versions with a transparent back. Price: $ 30.

Sarah Tew / CNET

Incipio has a bunch of new cases for the iPhone 11 line. I like the new Areolite Extreme, which is transparent, navy blue and black and has the FortiCore ribs of the company and the raised edges to help protect against falls .

Sarah Tew / CNET

Otterbox’s chic folio case, the Strada, returns for the iPhone 11 range. It is available in brown and black for around $ 50 and protects your phone perfectly. The only small strike against it is that it does not turn into a viewing medium for watching videos. It is probably best suited for the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but it is suitable for anyone who wants additional screen protection for any model of iPhone 11.

Grovemade, based in Portland, produces beautifully crafted wooden crates. Her $ 60 wooden bumper case are the most affordable, but of course I’m a fan of her Wallet case in walnut and leather, which costs only $ 130 (as a new customer, you get 10% off). It is one of the lightest and most refined wallet cases you will find, and is also available in a lighter maple color.
