Atlantic diet: Why eating local, complete foods can improve your health

You have already heard about the Mediterranean diet, filled with links for heart-health benefits and general welfare. But have you heard of the Atlantic diet?

A study published in JAMA added fish, dried fruits, vegetables, beans and a diet to a diet with low risk of metabolic syndrome, a term for a variety of general health conditions that increases the risk of chronic disease.

In particular, in 2014 and 2015, researchers recruited recruitment families, including more than 500 individual participants to compare their rate of developing metabolic syndrome during a six -month follow.
