Although this year’s iPhone series has not yet been released, the news of Apple’s 2022 iPhones broke the cover thanks to trusted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In a research note to analysts, cited by MacRumorsAccording to reports, Apple is proposing to upgrade the series’ camera credentials and abandon the iPhone Mini project.
IPhone deals for 2022 may include two 6.1-inch devices and two 6.7-inch devices instead. Two of these models may offer a lower price point while two compete against each other in the proper flagship arena. The 5.4-inch iPhone is expected to reappear this year. However, according to the analyst, Apple will not build another compact phone in 2022.
The iPhone 12 Mini is one of the best (if only) flagship phones out there. Even so, it reportedly didn’t sell as well as its siblings. As a result, Apple apparently cut its annual manufacturing output in early 2021 Nikkei Asia Report.

While a compact iPhone is now unlikely to hit the market in 2022, the phones making their debut appear to be due to significant improvements to the camera.
Kuo suggests that a 48-megapixel camera sensor should lead the iPhone H2 2022 series. The Snapper uses 4-in-1 pixel binning to create 12 megapixel shots, and it may also be able to record 8K video.
For the iPhone 2023 series, Apple will reportedly introduce additional features like in-display Face ID technology. Kuo also suggests that periscope cameras won’t debut until 2023, after their arrival was scheduled for 2022.
